For the environmental education of campus students, faculty, and staff members, the Go Green Alliance and University of Georgia Physical Plant Division Environmental Sustainability Committee will host "8 Days to Go Green" as part of Energy Awareness month.

Events during the week of October 14-21, 2007 will include:

Sunday, October 14:	Kick off Party! Street Painting on Sanford Drive! Make sure to check out the green square. UGA Housing will begin a recycling competition.
Monday, October 15:	Recycling educational materials will be provided throughout campus by University Physical Plant Division.
Tuesday, October 16:	Stamp Yourself for Recycling Awareness! Environmental Student Fair, light bulbs by GA Power
Wednesday, October 17:	Trashion Show - a show with clothes made from all recyclable materials.
Thursday, October 18:	Water bottle exchange - exchange a non-environmental bottle for one that's 75% eco-friendly (at the Tate Plaza and Ramsey Center)
Friday, October 19:	Dawgs after Dark recycling promotion
Saturday, October 20:	Junk Yard Wars - Green Games
Sunday, October 21:	Sunday marks the end of the Housing recycling competition. "Screen on the Green" - There will be a moving showing in the Myers Quad area.
