The University of Georgia Food Services program is a happy participant in many environmentally sustainable activities including:

• Recycling stations at all campus dining halls for cardboard, grease, and other materials

• Offering reduced prices for use of reusable “Big Gulp” mugs in their retail operations

• Active donor participant of the “Full Plate Program” which donates dining hall food to local community organizations

• Installation of remote extractors in all dining halls to reduce food waste and plastic into recyclable materials.

See http://www.uga.edu/foodservice/aboutdining/sustainability.html for more information on their efforts.
