The State of Georgia is currently under a Drought Level 4! Declared Drought Response Level Four – No outdoor water use is allowed, other than for activities exempted in 391-3-30-.05, or as the EPD Director may order. It is important to check with your local water authority for additional restrictions. Local water authorities have the power to add restrictions beyond those mandated by the state waterSmart is a program that seeks to conserve water in Georgia by encouraging reductions in outdoor water use. It offers simple tips for maintaining healthy lawns and gardens while using less water. |

11/12/2007 - University of Georgia's Physical Plant has just contrasted with a company that will recycle all fluorescent compact lamps, recycling of HID lamps, high pressure sodium, metal halide & mercury vapor! Careful lamp disposal methods can help keep harmful mercury out of the air and also cut down on the amount of materials that end up in the landfill.
